Overview
Panchakarma is a cornerstone of Ayurvedic medicine, focusing on detoxification and rejuvenation. The term “Panchakarma” translates to “five actions” or “five treatments,” referring to the five procedures that cleanse the body of toxins and restore balance to the doshas (body energies: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha).
Key Procedures
Raktamokshana (Bloodletting)
Purpose: Purifies the blood to treat diseases caused by blood impurities.

Nasya (Nasal Administration)

Vamana (Therapeutic Emesis)
Purpose: Induces vomiting to eliminate excess Kapha from the respiratory and gastrointestinal
